Beartooth Pittsburgh Concert reviews
U2 back in second home: magic
This Beartooth concert was enjoyed by me as any recent memory. Over the years, I have seen 25 shows; my wife attended one of their first at the Paradise in Boston. A return to the basics seemed evident, which, for Beartooth, is a VERY good thing. The set, though surely costly, was much less "busy" compared to recent stage arrangements. The screen/cage in the middle of the arena was quite cool; my reaction wasn't the same to the "spider web" from the previous tour. However, the music was exceptional as always, and the set list was extraordinary. Beartooth clearly holds special feelings for Boston, even showcasing the #BostonStrong message on the screen. The crowd sang as they streamed out of the Garden, with a great ending featuring "40."
